Genknowme contributes to research on epigenetic clocks and long-term fasting

Genknowme is pleased to have contributed to a recent study conducted at Buchinger Wilhelmi, led by Siyuan Luo under the supervision of Ferdinand von Meyenn at ETH Zürich, with the support of Franziska Grundler and Marie Knufinke.

For this work, Genknowme generated high-quality DNA methylation profiles, supporting the analysis of epigenetic changes associated with long-term fasting and the assessment of how informative epigenetic clocks may be in this context.

We congratulate the research team and all contributors involved in this important work, which adds to the growing scientific understanding of epigenetics, longevity, and metabolic health.
